Da Vinci Science Center Holding Ebola Public Fact Discussion Forum on 10/28

The Da Vinci Science Center will hold a public Fact Forum program about the Ebola virus to provide clear and accurate information about this pertinent news topic. The Fact Forum event – which is intended for adults ages 18 and up – will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, from 6-7:30PM. It will be free and open to the public. The Center’s exhibit floor will not be open during the program. Interested participants are encouraged to register below.

Panelists from Lehigh Valley Health Network and St. Luke’s University Health Network will make short presentations on various facets of the Ebola virus topic and will answer questions from the audience. David Smith, Ph.D., Senior Director and Chief Scientist of the Da Vinci Science Center, will moderate the program.

Dear Parents and Community,

I would like to make you aware of Enterovirus (EV-D68) and enlist your assistance in limiting its spread. From mid-August to September 18, 2014, a total of 153 people from 18 states were confirmed to have respiratory illness caused by EV-D68. Recently, several cases have been confirmed in Pennsylvania.
